Looking for information on places to ride dirt bikes in Florida. Mainly south Florida in and around the West Palm Beach area. I would pay to have a place were my son who is a beginner could ride. Thanks to this web site I hoping to contact people with the same problems I'm experiencing when trying to find local property to ride.

This has to be the niftiest site I have seen so far this year. I can't believe it took me nearly a year to come across it. The input from riders is fabulous. I hope it's okay for me to be here. I am a bicycle retailer here in So Cal and came across this looking for my own site. Imagine my suprise when I saw reviews of my shop! Being new to this industry has left me at a bit of a disadvantage, however if MyBikeSite doesn't mind I'd love to browse around here and hopefully learn some new things.

When I first hiked these switchbacks with my mom I didn't like them but later on i learned to appreciate the Turnbull hills. For months,we have discovered other new and exciting trials and that is why we love to come here on Saturdays. It is a very good way to release stress and to heal yourself mentally and spiritually.Furthermore,my mom and I hope that they won't close or change these trials(only to clean up the roads even if they are narrow or wide). And please no more dogs people!

My three sons showed me some stretched limo bikes on the internet, and said that was what they wanted for their birthdays. I saw the prices they were asking for the crap they were selling, and told them I could do much better. My first project was this 16" *Super-Stretch Limo* Project#2 is a similar, but a much different concept.(This bike is the 20" version that I'm building for my self,) Saturday, I pick up the bent springer front end... We'll just see what happens after that....

I think this is a great site to network. I am looking for a group to join mountain biking in the San Diego/Poway area. I am not sure what level I would be considered, but I can ride round trip - 8 miles in about an hour and 15 min with an elevation of about 400 ft. I like to ride at 6:00am on weekdays and would like to ride between 7 to 8am on weekends. If anyone would let me join their group/team send me and e-mail: I am also interested in attending the Hurkey Canyon race near Idylwild in September if anyone needs a female rider.

I'm some what new to mtn.biking, I tried about 6 or 7 yrs. ago but all I had was a P.O.S. Toys 'R' Us bike and it broke, no surprise there, about a week after I got it. A couple of weeks ago I happened across a Specialized Rock Hopper in near mint condition in a trash dumpster. All the components work except i needed a new chain due to rust. It's a hard tail w/no suspension in front. I don't even know what year this model is. Anyway, does anyone have any advice for a way "green" beginner.

I wanted to commend you guys on a great site!!! I am a newbie and a few friends of mine and I attempted a local trail (fully loop) and got lost earlier this week. I posted my experience......I had numerous emails the same day I posted my message from other mtbikers willing to ride with me to show me the right way, or suggest ways of obtaining maps. Just yesterday I met up with a really cool guy who emailed me regarding riding the Fully Loop, and we rode the loop together, I now have a new riding bud thanks to this site. I am really hyped on mtbiking and I visit the site daily, reading riders stories and local trail updates. Thanks again for a great site with great links too.

Hey anyone here going to the Wango Tango concert at Dodgers Stadium on June 16th or 17th? Some killer artists are playing like the Backstreet Boys, Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson, Nelly Furtado, Aerosmith, American Hi Fi, Vertical Horizon, Dream, Eden's Crush, Bee Gees and Christina Aguilera, and there are still tons of tickets left!!! I thought the concert would've sold out in like 5 minutes but I guess it hasn't cause I got tickets no problem. If you live close, a concert like this is worth the me!!!

This site has great trail descriptions--it'll take years to work my way through riding the different trails and get back to the favorites. exploring socal wildlands by wheel gives me plenty to look forward to! did Wildwood park up in Ventura County today, which was memorable because of Lizard Peak, the waterfall, Indian Cave, and several stream crossings. A recommended ride, if you don't mind walking up the steep rocky parts getting up to the top of the mesa.

i love my bike i love the trails, the skills, the adrenilin and the freedom, it's all good and i'm in harmony with myself and nature, i would hope that i can always do this sport til i'm eighty, i dream and think about it whenever i'm not on my bike flying down hillsides or off rocks and trees, (hey people hit trees, fact of life!! :) i love the kooky culture, commradery, the respect of the truly awe of feeling alive, that exists amongst bikers, all this is soo good as i become one with the bike and with the earth the ok but i gotta say to that guy who nicely ranted about how we kill ecosystems and going on about his alabrem whipsnake oi try it before you smack it with the evilstick, has he ever felt the beauty of the in tune ride where everything connects and you know your place on the face of the earth to be free of responiblities, school and world politicians playing north korean rolette with nuclear bombs? ever had the urge to get away from it all and find your little place of sanctuary spinning your wheels down a trail? until he does that and respects it for the beautiful thing it is, stay put in front of the tv, yes people get hurt, bad and slight, yes we probably destroy the environment a little, but so do hikers and bears, gonna keep the bears from destroying the whipsnake's habitat? ohh and he didn't bother to really mention that there is a lot we do, how 'bout imba's rules of the trail, he ever read them? he ever been on a work crew that goes and restore the trails every spring, he ever had a biker give him a friendly wave as the biker rode by him at a nice slow speed all and all actually think that guy should watch his back because bikers do a lot of good, they are covering a lot of mostly unchecked trails on a regular basis, they would be one of the first to notice a spill or fire or something that was severly wronged, that's a good sounding reason for us to be there:) and plus if that guy wants his whipsnake's habitat to be preserved from the concrete of urban sprawl, bikers are pretty possessive of their trails, they would be another big group that would cry out against development, want some nuts protesters? yah i'll hug a tree for my trails, keep it real in there, but there is the badassness we gotta keep in check, hikers don't feel so bad if you take the thirty seconds to slow down around them and say a cheerful hi and all, if you don't and whip by making soiled pants, then they gonna be so much more anti-mountain biker, gonna wanna restrict us off more trails, totally ambassador the sport, make it harder to keep us on the trails so play nice with others, eh, but i say long live the knobby tired and the gravity defying, hail to the mountain biker who makes all well by his rubber and pipes of geometric harmony, hail most of all to centrifical force and momentum:) and to the mojo of power, thanks be to the god of the mountain bike who smiles upon his children of the lycra who run wild in the forest and most of all i say canada kicks ass!!!! ride on my brothers and the world is my playground, hog the slide:) ahahaha word out:)
